David (Dave) F. Pippin of Lexington, MA died peacefully with his family by his side on October 1, 2022. He was born in White River Junction, Vermont on January 31, 1940 to his parents, Marcus (Buster) Pippin and Catherine (Cay) Ferguson, and grew up with his brothers, Mark and William (Bill). 

Dave was the devoted husband of Judy A. Pippin (Freitas). He was the beloved father of David Pippin and his late wife Irene, Karen Kadis (Pippin) and her husband Todd, Matthew Pippin and his wife Stephanie, and Eric Pippin. He was the devoted brother of Mark Pippin and his wife Patricia, and the late Bill Pippin and his surviving wife Rachel. He was the beloved grandfather of David L. Pippin, Victoria Willson (Pippin), Clark Kadis and Ethan Kadis. He was the beloved great grandfather of Surene Willson. He was also the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Dave graduated from Mercersburg Academy in PA, where he played football and ran track. He graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. degree in Finance and Economics.

Dave moved to Lexington, MA with his wife Judy and their children in 1963, where he lived for the rest of his life. He was a Certified Public Accountant at Arthur Andersen. He was Past President of the Lexington Jaycees. He co-owned Pippin Enterprises with his brothers, Mark and Bill. Dave was an executive at BASF Corporation for 25 years, and completed his career as the Director of National Sales. 

Dave loved spending time on Cape Cod with his wife and family. He was a sports fan, especially for Boston teams. He enjoyed assisting with boating classes provided by the local chapter of the Power Squadron. Later in life, his hobbies included painting and jigsaw puzzles. Dave will always be remembered as a gentleman with a bright smile, a great sense of humor and an upbeat attitude. 

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, October 11th at St. Brigid Church, 1981 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 10am. Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Visiting hours on Monday, October 10th at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
